3rd Trimester Pregnancy Fitness

I'm now 32 weeks and the 3rd trimester is already kicking my butt! I've had a large kidney stone stuck for over a month now. I'm worried I'll have to go in for another surgery to get it removed after the baby comes. Surgery with a new born.. oh my! I've also started having spurts of morning sickness and extreme fatigue lately so trying to stay on my fitness regimen has been difficult. Also I was on moderate bed rest for a week a couple weeks ago for a short cervix and contractions, so I have to take it very easy.
I try to workout for at least 15 minutes if I am able. Doing turbo fire, p90x, or body beast (all very modified). Before I was put on moderate bed rest I liked going to the gym and doing the elliptical and walking incline on the treadmill switching every 15 minutes for an hour.
I still try to eat every couple hours. My diet is not as strict as it used to be, considering when I'm nauseous the only thing I can make myself eat is cereal. I like to mix my bland healthy fiber filled cereal with the sugary cereal to add a little more nutrition. As soon as the nausea is gone, so is the unhealthy cereal.  Some of my favorite snacks are greek or yoplait low cal yogurt, string cheese, granola bars, apple sauce, grapes, apples, or bananas. My favorite meal is a chicken ceasar salad. I found this amazing Ceasar Parmigiano yogurt dressing by bolthouse farms, with only 45 calories per 2 TBS. To make it even healthier and in my opinion tastier I squeezed a bunch of lemon juice into the bottle and shook it up. I add Lemon to everything now instead of salt- salads, chicken, fish, ect. It makes your buds salivate the same as salt does, enhancing the flavor.

What is your pregnancy fitness regimen like? What are some of your favorite healthy recipes?

My Baby Shower

Before we moved from St. George to Salt Lake one of my best friends, Aubrey Lee, threw me an over the top gorgeous baby shower! I told her not to do anything too crazy and she outdid herself. I think she would make one amazing party planner. I can't believe the time, money, and detail that she put into this. The shower goes with baby Aspens nursery which is a woodland creature theme in bright turquoise, pink, and yellow. I will never forget this day and the love I felt from my girlfriends!

Aubrey and I

Aubrey is thinking about going to culinary school, and I think she should because the food was amazing! And how gorgeous is the setup?! Wish I would have taken one of the view from her patio of St. George. You can kinda see it in the window reflection, breath taking!

We had crepes with a yummy sauce and fruit.

Ahhh how cute is this watermelon baby??!! I love it, I love it! This was the fruit dip for the cinnamon chips.. mmm...

AND AN OWL CAKE! How doOoes she do it all? He's so cute I didn't even want to eat him!!! She knows how I love my coconut, scrumptious cake.

She made these pretty poms out of tissue paper and is letting me keep them  to make a chandelier type thing over Aspens crib.  So excited!
The most gorgeous diaper cake!! She's amazing. How cuuute are those widdle shoes!
This is precious, she enlarged an ultrasound picture of Aspen.
The invitation, adorbes!
